How do I access my purchase?

After checkout, you’ll see a link on the order confirmation page where you can download your resources right away.

You’ll also receive two emails within a few minutes:

  • A receipt email with a link back to your order confirmation page
  • A separate download email with direct links to your files

If you don’t see the emails, be sure to check your spam or promotions folder for a message from The Learning Effect with the subject line “Your downloads are here.”

How do you open a ZIP file?

A ZIP file is simply a compressed folder that holds multiple files in one download. This helps keep everything organized and makes downloading faster.

Before you can use the files inside, the ZIP folder needs to be unzipped (extracted). The good news is that most devices can do this easily.

On a PC (Windows)

  1. Right-click the ZIP file.
  2. Select “Extract All.”
  3. Choose where you want the files saved (your Documents folder works well).
  4. Click “Extract.”

Your files will open in a regular folder.

On a Mac

  • Double-click the ZIP file, and it should unzip automatically.

If it doesn’t:

  1. Hold Control and click the ZIP file.
  2. Choose Open With → Archive Utility.
  3. The unzipped folder will appear in the same location.

On a Chromebook

  1. Double-click the ZIP file to open it.
  2. The ZIP will appear in the file manager sidebar.
  3. Open a new folder where you want the files saved.
  4. Drag the files from the ZIP folder into the new folder to extract them.

On an iPhone or iPad

iOS devices require an app to unzip files. iZip is a free and reliable option from the App Store.

  1. Install iZip.
  2. Download your ZIP file from your My Purchases page.
  3. When prompted, select “Open in iZip.”
  4. Tap OK to extract the files.
  5. Open the folder and tap individual files to view them.

Can I share files with other teachers?

Each purchase includes an individual license and is intended for use by one teacher. If another teacher would use the resource, please share the product link so they can purchase their own copy.

Does my purchase include future updates?

Yes! I regularly update my resources to keep them fresh, accurate, and easy to use. If a product receives an update, you’ll automatically have access to the latest version in your account.

I intentionally chose a shop platform that ensures you’ll always be able to re-download updated files - no extra steps or additional cost required.

What is your refund policy?

All resources are delivered digitally. Because digital files (such as PDFs, PowerPoint files, and Google Slides) can’t be returned once downloaded, all sales are considered final and nonrefundable.

That said, if you accidentally made a duplicate purchase or bought the wrong resource, please email me at hello@thelearningeffect.com. I’m always happy to help when I can!
