SHIPPING & DIGITAL DELIVERY POLICY

Thank you for shopping with The Learning Effect, LLC. All products sold in our store are digital downloads. No physical products will be shipped.

Because everything is delivered digitally, please review the information below about how and when you’ll receive your files.


1. DELIVERY METHOD

All resources purchased from The Learning Effect are delivered electronically.

After your payment is successfully processed, you will receive:

  • An order confirmation email, and
  • A link (or links) to download your digital files.

In many cases, you can also access your purchased files by logging in to your account (if you created one during checkout).

No physical items will be mailed.


2. DELIVERY TIMEFRAME

Most digital products are available immediately after purchase.

In typical situations:

  • Download links are shown on the checkout/thank-you page right after payment, and
  • Download links are also emailed to the email address you entered at checkout.

If you do not see the email within a few minutes:

  • Please check your spam/junk folder.
  • If you used a school or district email, your filter or firewall may block outside download links. You may need to request that the domain be unblocked or use a personal email when purchasing.

If you still have not received access to your files after checking spam and filters, please contact us at hello@thelearningeffect.com with your order number so we can help.


3. INCORRECT EMAIL / TYPOS AT CHECKOUT

Your digital delivery depends on the email address you provide at checkout.

If the email address was entered incorrectly (for example, a typo in the domain), you will not receive the automated delivery email.

If you believe this happened, email us at hello@thelearningeffect.com with:

  • Your full name
  • Date of purchase
  • The last 4 digits of the card used OR your PayPal email
    We’ll use that information to locate your order and resend the files.

4. LOST FILES / NEED TO RE-DOWNLOAD

We strongly recommend saving and backing up your files after download.

If you lose access to a file you’ve purchased, you can:

  • Check your original order email for the download link, or
  • Log in to your account (if you created one at checkout), or
  • Email us at hello@thelearningeffect.com with your order number so we can help you regain access.

Please note: We cannot guarantee indefinite hosting of older versions of products. We do our best to maintain access, but we may update, replace, or retire products over time.


5. TAXES, FEES, AND SHIPPING COSTS

Because our products are digital:

  • There are no shipping fees and no physical handling fees.

However:

  • Sales tax or digital goods tax may be applied at checkout based on your location and local/state tax requirements. This is handled automatically by our payment system.

We do not charge customs duties, import fees, or international shipping charges because nothing physical ships.


6. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

All sales of digital products are considered final once the order is completed and access to the files has been delivered.

We do not offer refunds for reasons such as:

  • “I changed grade levels.”
  • “This doesn’t match my pacing/curriculum.”
  • “I thought it was a physical product.”
  • School/district blocked the download email.

We may offer a refund or alternative resolution in limited cases like:

  • Accidental duplicate purchase of the exact same item under the same email address.
  • A clear technical issue on our side that prevents successful file delivery and cannot be resolved.

7. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Before purchasing, please ensure that you (or your school device) can open the file formats listed in the product description. Our resources may include (not limited to):

  • PDF files
  • PowerPoint files
  • Google Slides / Google Sheets links
  • PNG images or other printable formats
  • ZIP files

We are not responsible if your school/district blocks access to external links (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox-style delivery, etc.). If that happens, you may need to use a personal device or personal email address to retrieve the files and then transfer them to your school device in accordance with your school’s policies.
