No matter what grade you may get moved around to throughout your career, these monthly reading logs will fit your students' needs. These reading logs include two options - a set for primary students and a set for upper elementary students.

These reading logs were created when I taught 2nd grade and 4th grade to fit the needs of my students - whether they were being read to or doing the reading themselves. This made tracking reading a breeze for both students and parents.

THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES

  • Monthly reading logs for primary students - These logs feature a clipart watermark on the background of each page with the following column titles: date, book title, read to child, read by child. They do not require logging minutes read, but rather if the child did the reading or if they were read to. (*A copy of each month without the clipart is also included.)
  • Monthly reading logs for upper elementary students - These logs do not have clip art and have the following column titles: date, book title, author, time spent reading.
  • All 12 months are included for each option.
  • All pages have a black and white ink-saving design, perfect for printing on bright colored paper.
  • Google Slides digital option for each reading log type – separated by month or all together in one 12 month file.

  • PDF: This resource requires Adobe Reader (free software) to access and is NOT editable in any way. You will not be able to manipulate the content inside.
  • Google Slides: To access the Google Slides version, you need to have a (free) Google account. Once you purchase this resource, you will receive a PDF with a link for access to the digital resource. The link will prompt you to make a copy of the resource, which will add it to your Google Drive.
